Which key is this?
The official badge description says “Find the Steak Key in Chapter 2.” It is not the ordinary key used for the locked bedroom door in Chapter 1. A second badge, “I found a place,” says to unlock the Steak Door with the Steak Key. Roblox therefore documents two distinct objectives: find the Chapter 2 key, then use it on the matching door.
Find the Steak Key
During Chapter 2, the power is cut while the group is in Steak’s streaming office. Follow the story objective to the upstairs fuse box. The October 22 walkthrough shows the key on the floor beside the fuse area after the outage. Pick it up; this is the action associated with “I found something.”
The same narrator says the key is kept after restarting. That is a creator-reported observation, not an official persistence rule, so treat it as a useful report rather than a guarantee for every future version.
Use it on the Steak Door
The Steak Door appears in the room reached after the sound sequence associated with the Nightmare. Go to the door and use the Steak Key; the official badge directory calls this unlocking the Steak Door and records a separate badge for it. The current walkthrough connects the unlock with entry to Chapter ?, whose official badge names remain “Chapter ?”.
Some video narration calls the item a “Charlie key,” and the door uses a Charlie image. Steak Key is the official badge name. The available sources do not establish who Charlie is, so the nickname does not identify a confirmed character or replace the official item name.
