At a glance

October walkthroughs show a two-stage Chapter 2 route: trigger four sounds in the first nightmare, collect the Steak Key near the upstairs fuse sequence, then replay Chapter 2, trigger the sounds again and use the key on the Steak-marked door. Chapter ? requires 50 doors and ends at the Wake Up door.

The videos do not label every sound room or provide a fixed 50-door route. A pre-update clip also describes a Back-menu shortcut, so current menu behavior is not guaranteed.

Official Roblox WAKE UP badge icon for the 50-door objective in Chapter ?. It is not a map of the chapter.
The WAKE UP badge is tied to the published 50-door goal; its artwork does not show the door sequence.

Use the in-game name Chapter ?

The Roblox badge catalogue calls the content Chapter ?. “Secret chapter” is a useful search phrase, but the official place list has a separate Chapter 3 entry; that does not rename Chapter ? or prove that the two labels refer to the same playable content.

Unlock the Steak Door

The October 18 and 22 walkthroughs support a two-stage route:

  1. On the first Chapter 2 run, sleep in the basement guest room and enter the nightmare. Trigger four sounds; the October 18 guide says this produces a “new secret chapter” notice. The on-screen noise counter rises near a sound, so use it as a search cue.
  2. Continue Chapter 2 through the stream and power sequence. Go upstairs and pick up the Steak Key near the fuse box. One narrator calls it the “Charlie key”; the official badge name is Steak Key. The October 22 run says the key remains after restarting.
  3. Leave and replay Chapter 2 with the key. Return to the nightmare and trigger the sounds again so the doors appear, as shown in the October 18 walkthrough.
  4. Use the key on the door marked with Steak’s image. The October 22 run shows that door opening and the secret chapter unlocking.

The recordings do not show every transition in one continuous run, but they distinguish the sound-trigger notice from opening the keyed door. The exact room for each sound is not named, so this guide uses the counter rather than inventing coordinates.

Enter Chapter ? after unlocking it

One October 17 walkthrough, recorded before the October 18 update, shows a menu shortcut: leave and rejoin the experience, open Play → Chapters, then use Back. The narrator calls the resulting selection Chapter 0; another walkthrough labels it Chapter Secret. Because this clip predates the update, treat the shortcut and labels as a reported route, not a guaranteed current menu path.

Chapter ?: the 50-door run

The official WAKE UP badge requires getting through all 50 doors. A full-run video supports these practical rules:

  • Search rooms for coins and keys. A key can be needed for the next room; the narrator reports hearing a sparkling sound when close to one.
  • Keep moving if a white figure in the distance grows larger. The video reports that staying in one room too long lets it approach, while entering the next room makes it recede.
  • If the lights flicker, hide. The same run shows a hide-and-survive badge after the player survives that encounter.
  • Avoid touching the moving figure that advances when the player looks away; the video reports that contact causes damage.
  • At the final area, collect the ??? DVD for 1,000 coins before using the doorway marked Wake Up. The DVD pickup and playing it are separate badge goals.

The final wake-up doorway ends the nightmare sequence. The source shows recovery from some failed encounters, but does not map every checkpoint or publish a fixed route through all 50 rooms.

Badge names and spoiler boundary

The official list separates being caught by an Another, surviving an Another, completing all 50 doors, obtaining the ??? DVD, and playing it. The key and Steak Door are Chapter 2 unlock objectives; the 50-door progression is labeled Chapter ?.

The public place list includes Chapter 3 as a separate place name. It does not establish that Chapter ? is Chapter 3 or provide a release date.
